For those who do not know about the wonderful world of Pineapple Street, it is a contemporary fiction novel written by Jenny Jackson. Prior to the release of her debut novel, the publishing world was well acquainted with Ms. Jackson as she is the current Vice President and Executive Editor at Knopf.

However, when I found this book I just saw a unique cover, (I know, I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but I did- opps!) and my next bookish escape as I packed my things for a beach day with my best friend. I did not know that Pineapple Street would take me by surprise and teach me about the

micro-generational impact of wealth. Here was a story that combined humor, light-heartedness, and romance all while pulling back the curtain on one of the biggest financial changes happening amongst one-percenters today.

The question... "What is one's moral responsibility when amassed with a massive inheritance?" provides the thread with which we follow along the storylines of three women; Georgina, Sasha, and Darley. Each one highlighting what wealth means to Gen Z and Millennials all while orbiting around the family home on Pineapple Street.
